Elder Alternatives, Inc. was established in 2001 after owner Rhonda Blanchette spent several years working for a large multistate agency. Her goal was to personalize service by creating true and trusting relationships with clients, families, and team members.
The agency started as a Homemaker/Companion agency as a “small fish in a big pond”. The belief of removing the complexity and red tape by getting back to basics was the core pillar. All decisions were based on answering one question: “How do I want myself and my loved one treated”
Every individual’s service needs are different, family needs are different and goals are different. We listen intently and clarify needs to match the right caregiver to exceed the client’s expectations. This allowed us to hire stellar caregivers and deliver the best service possible, allowing our agency to grow. As a start-up, we faced the challenge of stiff competition from large companies with big advertising budgets. This challenge turned out to be our greatest asset because prospective clients and caregivers spoke directly with the owner and relationships were developed with those making things happen.
Over time we grew into a robust Home Health Agency that is State Licensed and Fully Insured and Accredited (ACHC) serving Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
