Gallagher Ford has been family owned and operated for 35 years in Elko, NV. We recently completed a multimillion dollar renovation that included an all new expanded showroom and office space as well as an updated waiting room. Other dealers in Elko claim to be locally owned however are all owned by larger groups based outside of the state, we are the only true locally family owned and operated dealer in Elko. The dealer principal as well as the general manager (dealers son) are in store daily working side by side and interacting with customers and employees to ensure our customers receive the best possible service.
Gallagher Ford has many employees who have been with us for over 30 years. One such employee is our current parts manager and she began employment here as a parts runner. Many technicians have started in the lube bay or wash bay and advanced all the way to master technicians or management positions. This loyalty we believe and has been told is due in part to the family run atmosphere and ownership involvement in the daily working of the business.
This is our 35th year in business. Mike Gallagher purchased what was Warren Ford in 1984 and rebranded as Gallagher Ford. Since then the dealership has moved locations and gone under a major renovation. Mike Gallagher had the foresight to harbor ground level relationships with the mining industry in its infancy in Elko and has cultivated a robust fleet relationship with a majority of the major mining and mining support fleets in the area, bolstering a strong business relationship. Along with that Mike has a strong ranching background and has used that knowledge to become the dealer of choice for many of the areas ranchers. Casey Gallagher started his employment in the dealership in 2008 and assumed the role of General Manager in 2015. Along with Casey and Mike, both of their wives hold managerial positions in the store to ensure a fluid and transparent family run atmosphere.
