Who We Are

Ilderton Dodge was founded in 1926 by Horace G Ilderton. The commitment to excellence in sales and service has supported the reputation of the business within the High Point community and beyond. This standard is applied to all Ilderton platforms- CDJR sales and service, mobility van sales and service, and emergency/government.

In 1957, Ilderton’s son, Tim Ilderton, started working with him after returning from World War II. From there, Ilderton Dodge expanded its’ physical properties and influence. Many members of the Ilderton family work at Ilderton Dodge, and those that are not blood-related feel like part of the family. This sense of family and community makes customers feel welcome and secure as they embark on the journey of purchasing or servicing a vehicle.

Involved in the Community

The Ilderton family’s commitment to the High Point and Triad communities has never wavered. They have been a fixture of the community and are often seen participating in or hosting events that benefit local and national charities, including Make a Wish, the United Way, and more.

President Tim Ilderton serves as a leader in the community by supporting other local businesses and sitting on the Board of Directors of several institutions, such as the Better Business Bureau of Central North Carolina, the Piedmont Better Business Bureau, and by serving as the President of the Guilford Merchants Association.
