Since 1926, the Ilderton family has been serving customers with quality automobiles in the triad cities of High Point, Greensboro, and Winston Salem. On October 26, 1926 Horace G. Ilderton established Horace G. Ilderton Inc.. T. Carey Ilderton joined his father at the company in 1946 after returning from World War II. He encouraged his father to build what is now the Ilderton dealership on South Main Street. In 1972, Ilderton started an endeavor to sell and service vehicles equipped to transport the physically challenged. Ilderton Conversion Company was born and now sells and services wheelchair vans, helping people across the country regain their mobility and independence.
Ilderton is still to this day family managed, led by Tim and Steve Ilderton. Christopher, Catherine and John, the next generation of Ilderton's, are on site and involved in the day to day running of the dealership and are committed to upholding the quality and service that we are known for.
