First in Compassion. First in Comprehensive Care. First in Home Care.™
Interim HealthCare Inc., founded in 1966, is a leading national franchisor of home care, hospice and healthcare staffing.
As the first nationwide home care company, we’ve put over 50 years of experience into our signature standard of care. Ours is a deeply meaningful approach that encompasses the whole individual—mind, body, spirit—in addition to caring for the whole family.
We apply these same holistic principles to our employees, focusing on what works for the whole person, from flexible hours that fit your lifestyle to a matching system that optimizes skills and goals.
As COVID-19, a respiratory illness caused by a coronavirus, continues to spread through our local communities, Interim HealthCare® is committed to providing the timely resources, care and support our clients and employees need to stay well. Since our clients are among the most vulnerable to this viral infection, we are making every effort to protect them from potential exposure, while continuing to provide the highest quality of care. We understand the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, and it is our goal to alleviate your concerns by taking immediate action to protect you and your loved ones. As your home healthcare provider, you can count on Interim to be vigilant to address this situation and provide the extra layer of protection and support you need.
Whether you’re a nurse or any other kind of healthcare worker, what you have in common is the desire to make a difference. Home care not only provides an opportunity for establishing a longer, more meaningful relationship with your client or patient, it also allows you a degree of lifestyle freedom with more flexible hours. The combination can be very rewarding, and there’s no better place to work than Interim, the first in home care™.
No matter what your skills and goals are, we offer a variety of ways to care. For example, hospice healthcare professionals have a variety of areas of expertise including nursing, medical social work, chaplain/spiritual counselors, therapists and bereavement specialists. As a staffing nurse, therapist or aide, you may be filling in for a shift or providing a much more temporary service. Often working as a team, each individual provides valuable services to patients and their families. Every healthcare job requires someone with specific education, licensure and experience. We have a place for you.
We know that as a caregiving professional, it’s important for you to stay up-to-date on new technology and medical training. That’s why Interim HealthCare places a high value on
continuing education. Our online Learning Center, Interim HealthCare University, offers more than 300 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and in-service educational courses.
These courses are provided at no cost to our employees, so we encourage our caregivers to take full advantage of advanced learning opportunities. Because of our uniquely comprehensive offerings at Interim HealthCare, we also offer many specialized training courses for specific types of care such as dementia. Available training includes interactive and engaging online courses, and dynamic, informative live webinars.
