Building a Legacy

We have seen many online companies come and go in our industry. Many of them offered too good to be true prices for products and shipping, which didn't keep them in business very long. Jacks has been there since the beginning of online commerce in 1997, and you can place confidence in our reputation that places us above the competition.

We continue to offer the same superior customer service that we did over 25 years ago and treat each order with the same utmost care and respect as we did with the very first order.  Our knowledgeable customer service department is second to none in offering the best service in the industry.  Our team of web developers and designers are still continuing to find new and creative ways to make the site more user friendly while continually adding new products.

Community Partnership

Jacks provides the opportunity for employees to demonstrate participation through community engagement activities that are meaningful and purposeful and help those in need.

At the same time, Jacks recognizes that participating in these activities will also enrich and inspire the lives of our employees. The purpose of Jacks’ volunteer program is to:

  • Support volunteer activities that enhance and serve the communities in which we live and work
  • Support communities that are impacted by disasters
  • Address issues that impact quality of life

All regular, full-time employees can volunteer for up to 8 hours (1 day) per calendar year with a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. More than one organization may be chosen. Employees will be paid at their normal pay rate for the volunteer hours.

Chad Moravec

I have been with Jacks Small Engine for almost 10 years. I started out in an entry level position as a packer. Over the years I have grown within the company and been promoted multiple times over the years. At this point I am now the Warehouse Manager of the whole good division. I really like the fact that Jacks promotes within the company and gives employees the opportunity to grow. At Jacks we take the time to get to know our employees and it helps with the daily tasks of the warehouse.

At Jacks Small Engines, my passion for professional development found an ideal home. The company's commitment to fostering career growth aligns seamlessly with my aspirations, providing an environment brimming with opportunities for advancement. This is especially true now that we have been acquired by Northern Tool and Equipment. My admiration for our company stems from its nurturing atmosphere, where the culture not only acknowledges but actively encourages employees' ambitions, making it a place where my career has thrived over the past 12 years.

My Journey began here in April of 2012. I started as a picker in the warehouse, then quickly moved to receiving and to a team lead for the warehouse. I then moved to customer service when I was about to have my first child in June of 2015. Throughout my journey I accomplished many goals.. always pushing forward with a positive attitude!  I then transferred to the front counter at the retail store in the summer of 2016, making great customer relations my goal and selling mowers like crazy. I always kept a smile on my face and a drive to sell anything and everything I could. I am now the retail store manager. I put in a lot of time and effort to achieve this position.  I have enjoyed growing my career here at Jacks Small Engines.
