Testimonials

Aaron Bostian, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Culpeper Retirement Community:  "After a decade of working in healthcare foodservice I finally decided to go back to school to become a nurse. The awesome team at the Culpeper put my experience in the kitchen to work while fitting my schedule around classes, and they paid tuition for my CNA course and exams and gave me a scholarship for nursing school. Now I'm certified and working as a CNA with a professional team which clearly cares about our residents while I prepare to start nursing school next year."

Paula Bolton, VP of Clinical Services, LifeSpire of Virginia:  “My 25 year journey with LifeSpire has been amazing!  I served at our Culpeper community for 22 years in several different roles…a LPN, then RN, care plan nurse, assistant director of nursing and administrator, and now serve at our home office as VP of Clinical Services.  The growth I have been afforded comes from caring leaders and awesome team members who I have had the privilege of serving alongside.  Our LifeSpire communities strive to provide a high quality of life for our residents while also supporting a team member experience that integrates work-life balance, empowerment, and growth.  Learn more about our communities and begin your journey!”

Sam Long, Food & Beverage Manager, The Glebe – Sam began his career with us as a Server when he was 16 years old.  Since that time, he has had multiple promotions and has goals of being a Director of Culinary Services.  In his years with the Glebe, he has graduated High School, received his Associates Degree, his bachelor’s degree,  and his CDM, CFPP Certification!

Community & Team Member Support

LifeSpire of Virginia has a long history of positively impacting the communities in which we are located.  In 2021 residents and team members across our communities, Foundation, and home office provided more than $1.4 million in monetary donations, goods, and services to public charities and organizations.  In addition, we gave thousands of hours of time to volunteer service.

We also feel strongly about supporting students in their quest for learning.  We do this for others in our community through programs like Cristo Rey and by supporting our own team members who are continuing their education by offering scholarships and tuition assistance.
