“My Career with Rydell started when another dealer in town told me I’d never succeed in the automotive industry. After that I walked into Kupper Chevrolet-Subaru in Mandan, ND; I couldn’t be happier with my decision. I started out in sales with them and had an opportunity to learn the financial side of the business. Then I was given the opportunity to go back to my hometown of Minot, ND to work with Minot Automotive Center. I had the chance to grow as a leader by teaching others what I learned. I worked as the Toyota Sales manager putting multiple skills together as far as closing deals, helping people with Finances, and growing others’ careers.
I then had an opportunity to meet with my 3rd Rydell Dealership in Fridley, MN at Friendly Chevrolet. They offered me a sales manager position and from there I was given the opportunity to grow from used car manager to new car manager and move on my journey to where I am today: General Sales Manager of Okoboji GM Toyota. Here I have an opportunity to grow the business, sales people, the culture, and the dealership as a whole. I am very fortunate that one General Sales Manager saw something in me that the other one didn’t. That’s why I am, where I am today. ”

“I started with Okoboji GM Toyota in June of 2017 as a Used Car Technician. In September of 2018 I was promoted to a Level B Technician. I love that the company is willing to promote when employees are doing a good job. Most of the places I’ve worked in the past only focus on seniority, but Okoboji Motors cares about us as people and our qualities. It’s a great place to work and everyone at the dealership is always willing to help the employees and our customers. It’s important to me to work for a company that really cares about me and my family and Okoboji truly does.”
“I started in October of 2016 as a Recondition Specialist. Just a few months later, Okoboji identified that I would be great leader and promoted me to Recondition Supervisor and I am currently a Service Advisor. I was fortunate to be able to get promoted not one but twice. I love the daily challenge that I face as a Service Advisor. I love working with and helping our customers. Most importantly I love the way we treat and take care of our customers. We build longtime, loyal customers because of the values we live by every day.”
