PM Environmental is an environmental risk expert focused on business-minded solutions. Our mission is to make the complex simple, the difficult possible, and bring clarity to our client's concerns and confidence to their decision-making process. In practice, that means we use solid science, business, and regulatory knowledge to guide our clients through sometimes complex environmental regulations, and help them find State or Federal incentives to make their commercial real estate projects viable.

Building a Legacy

PM Environmental was incorporated in 1992 by Michael Kulka and Peter Bosanic. The two met while studying Civil and Environmental Engineering at Michigan State University in the late 1980s. PM Environmental started out focusing on Michigan’s financial incentives for environmental cleanup and offering Underground Storage tank removal services.

Since then, the friends and business partners have consolidated their individual strengths and built PM into the #1 Environmental Consulting company in Michigan and one of the top 20 firms in United States. PM's services now include Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments, Property Condition Assessments, Brownfield Redevelopment, Environmental Compliance Audits, Industrial Hygiene, Underground Storage Tank Management, LEED and Energy Auditing Services, among others. The firm was built and continues to operate on several core fundamentals, including - integrity, safety, customer focus, technical knowledge, timely management, communication, and teamwork.

At PM Environmental, we strive to be much more than a business. We are partners with our community and, as an employee, you will get a chance to give back as well. We partner with many local organizations, charities and events with the goal of supporting our local community and the less fortunate. PM Environmental supports a number of charities through volunteering our time, fundraising, or simply making a donation. We also sponsor the “Challenge Detroit” program by employing a recent graduate to volunteer with non-profits throughout the area.
