Reliable Toyota has been a trusted community partner going back to the 1980s when it was Douglas Toyota. With the addition of Lexus in the early 90s and then BMW and Audi, the Superstore established itself as the premier automotive dealer in the Southwest Missouri region.

We have continued our long tradition of supporting local charities like the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks, Price Cutter Championship Charities, Toys 4 Tots, Purple Heart and hundreds of other important local fundraisers that benefit our community directly.

Avery Dewitt – Express Lube Tech

I began working at the Reliable Superstore shortly after I graduated from High School. Originally, I was looking for any job in the automotive industry, so I started as a part time Toyota Car Wash Attendant and soon switched to full time. I was planning on going to college but I decided that working full time would be a better option for me. With lots of hard work, I began to very quickly move through various jobs at Toyota, being promoted 3 times within a year. I eventually landed in the TXM Shop (Express Lube) as a Tech B. I continued to worked very hard, staying dedicated and within 2 months became a Tech A. I am now the only woman Tech A this department has seen in years. I am very proud of this and am looking forward to continuing to increase my knowledge everyday so that I can continue to grow into other positions at the dealership in the future.

Kara Richardson- Lexus Service Advisor

I was hired at Reliable Toyota in the fall of 2017. I started in the Toyota Service Department as a BDC (Business Development Center) representative. My position included scheduling service appointments, ordering parts, quotes and various other functions to help the appointments run smooth for both the customer and the advisor. In May of 2020 I was offered a Toyota Service Advisor and gladly accepted the offer. I enjoyed the position and the growth it brought me personally and within the business. Then in December 2021 I moved to the Lexus Service Department as a Service Advisor. I’m very happy I came to work at the Reliable Superstore. I have grown tremendously as a person, both at work and at home. It has also made me step outside of my comfort zone and challenge myself. I now realize that I have way more potential than I ever imagined.

Brad Perkins - Parts Director

In 2010 I was hired as a part time Car Wash Attendant. After about 6 months, moved to full time Evening Car Wash Manager. Management noticed I was exceeding expectations and I was moved to the Toyota & Lexus Parts Counter position in 2011. After being in the Parts Department and getting proper training, I then was promoted to the BMW Parts Counter. By 2013, I became the BMW Parts Manager. Shortly thereafter, I was promoted to Parts Manager of both BMW and Audi brands, where I spent 7 years growing both departments. I was then noticed again and offered the new, challenging position as Parts Director over all brands, Toyota, Lexus, BMW, Audi and Collision Parts at the Reliable Superstore. That is the position that I currently hold. When I started at the dealership, I had no idea what my career path would look like or how long or short it would be, but with a lot of hard work and wiliness to take chances, I am proud of the successes I achieved so far.
