With 36 brands and 52 locations throughout Michigan and California, we have plenty of opportunities for team members to shine.
In May of 2009, I walked into Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights to lease my brand new Ford Focus. I was only 18 years old and I was full of excitement. Just before I was about to leave with my brand new vehicle, I was stopped by my General Manager who asked if I was interested in a career opportunity. On the spot, he interviewed me and hired me.
A couple weeks later, I started out selling Pre-owned vehicles and was one of Suburban’s Top Performers for 5 straight years. At the age of 23, I was promoted to a Financial Services Manager were I got the chance to learn the business as a whole.
Now, I have the pleasure to help out all of our new and upcoming sales professionals, as I was recently promoted to our pre-owned Sales Manager. The opportunity this corporation has given me is unbelievable and it proves that hard work and dedication pays off.
Vito Vultaggio, Sales Manager
I started working at Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights in August of 2011. I began my career as a Porter parking cars and assisting the sales floor. Since then, I have worked my way through the Business Development Center, onto New and Pre-Owned Sales, and finally into the Finance department as a Financial Services Manager. No matter where you start, Suburban Ford provides the opportunity and the tools to help you succeed. I am proud to represent such an amazing company!
Caleb Herrera, Financial Services Manager
I never imagined I’d venture into automotive after school, that is until I was offered a co op opportunity in 2017 as a Porter. What appealed to me was the opportunity for advancement and upward growth. The leadership team worked with me to discover what I was passionate about through shadowing different departments and taking on diverse responsibilities. Since 2017, I have been promoted 4 times and am now financial independent. I am so grateful for everything this organization has done for me.
David Lulewicz, Service Consultant
Just over 3 years ago, I began my career here at Suburban. I started working as a Porter during the summer months in between school. I quickly realized the opportunity that lay ahead of me. In a few months, I worked my up, holding various roles which provided me the opportunity to move out of my parents place and be financially stable. I have found my passion working with parts and couldn’t be more thankful for the managerial support along the way.
