Our Story

In 2001, Weed Man began servicing customers in the Greater Springfield area and has since expanded into Hartford County, Connecticut. This has resulted in accelerated growth for our team, as well as continued development and opportunities for further expansion of our franchise areas.

Our culture is centered on family and caring for our team. Growth through people means that Weed Man wants each person to win as an individual and win as a team.

The main challenge that we have had is training people with limited knowledge to become professionals in our field. We have overcome this challenge by remaining goal-focused and performance-driven, expecting the same out of each member of our team.

Awards & Recognition

In 2015, Weed Man Springfield was the recipient of the Award of Excellence at the national level. This top award that symbolizes operational excellence is the highest honor that a Weed Man franchisee can receive. It is a significant milestone that can only be achieved through years of meticulous planning and execution. We are intentional every day in our actions and efforts to be nominated for this award once again.

In 2020, we received the Community Champion Award. This is presented to the franchise that has demonstrated exemplary commitment to community service through regular involvement in local causes, fundraising efforts, and volunteerism. Our team collected donations for the American Cancer Society.

We are also proud to be consistently nominated for the Customer Loyalty Award, which recognizes the franchise with exceptional customer service and retention.

Volunteering & Events

We support the American Cancer Society, as well as our local food pantries such as The Food Bank of Western MA/CT. We are driven to help fulfill the basic, fundamental need of hunger for those in our community.

In addition, our team enjoys frequent cookouts throughout the season, an end of the year banquet, hot dog Fridays and competitive Fantasy Football League.
