Building a Legacy
The initial vision for Massage Heights came into focus in 2003. Founders Wayne and Shane Evans understood how beneficial massage therapy is for health and wellness, but also saw that the high cost of quality services kept those benefits beyond the reach of most people. They envisioned a solution — membership-based, professional therapeutic massage services offered at attractive, convenient neighborhood locations at affordable prices.
They opened the first Retreat in 2004 in the Alamo Heights neighborhood of San Antonio, Texas. They called it Massage Heights to commemorate the location and the standard of service. Success was immediate and continuous — the second Retreat was open for business within a year and others followed. Today, we provide therapeutic massage and customized skin therapy to our Members in more than 100 Retreats from coast to coast and in Canada.
