We have a RN who originally started at Amada Concierge Care (the homecare side of Amada), he quickly learned that helping people was his calling. He worked and went to school full time to become an LVN. Once he became an LVN he joined forces with Amada Concierge Care. While working he decided to pursue his career further. While working with Amada Concierge Care, he was a full-time student getting his license as an RN. He was able to balance school and work with the flexible scheduling Amada Concierge Care offers. Once he achieved his RN License, he still was not yet finished. He is currently enrolled full time getting his BSN to further his Nursing career.
Michelle Mejia is currently our director of nursing. She started out with Amada as a RN. With her compassion for patients, hard work, and being extremely reliable Amada offered her the position to become our Director of Nursing.
Amada is an official employer-partner of the Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP), a division of the U.S. Department of Defense. That’s because we’re committed to recruiting, hiring, promoting and retaining military spouses and have dozens working at Amada offices around the country and our corporate office.
Amada also is the exclusive in-home care provider for the NFL Alumni Association for retired players, coaches and staff. And Amada has earned certification from the Home Care Standards Bureau and numerous other qualifying agencies in the senior care industry.
