Azalea Homecare Address to COVID-19:


As we all are aware, there is a pandemic taking place, COVID-19. During this time, we are all getting face with uncertainties and information is changing rapidly. Thus, here at Azalea Homecare we want to make you all aware of the measures that we are taking to ensure the client safety as well as our nurses’ safety. Listed below are some of the guidelines that we are implementing:

- We have ordered mask and other supplies for our nurses to pick up from the office.

- To try to adhere to the social distancing that has been requested, we will no longer allow our nurses to accompany the clients to their doctors’ appointments or other community events.

- Any nurse that is required to do a weekly errand run will be required to do the weekly errand run by themselves; each nurse will be required to wear a mask and gloves while they are out in the community.

- Each nurse has checked in with the office to ensure us that they are not currently showing any signs or symptoms of the disease. We encourage any client or family member that may feel like they are coming down with any of the signs or symptoms that they contact the office immediately so that we can help provide resources to you the client and our nurse in a timely fashion.

- The office will be open every day from 9 AM to 11 AM. If you need to come into the office you will have to set up an appointment time to come in each appointment time will have to have a 15 to 20 minutes of air travel in between to
allow office personnel to clean the office for the next person coming in.

- If you were a nurse and you were requiring training please understand that your training may not be completed by the ES. It may be conducted over the phone, via FaceTime or email. In the event the training has to be done physically it will be done with the DOO.

Again, we do recognize that these are challenging times for everyone involved, and the information as stated before is changing rapidly which adds to the unknown and can cause fear please understand that we are going to do everything that we can to minimize the spread of COVID-19. We cannot stress the importance of making sure that each and every last one of our clients and nurses are protected; Please do your best to stay in compliance with the state and local mandates that are in, we will get through this as team.
