In November 1975, Richard J. Flick became the official dealer of Banner Chevrolet and by February of 1978, became the sole owner of Banner Chevrolet.
Richard Q. Flick (Rick) succeeded his father as the official dealer of Banner Chevrolet in September of 1994. On May 3, 2002, Rick purchased Banner Ford in Mandeville, Louisiana and in February 2019, Banner Ford of Monroe was purchased.
The name BANNER was selected to stand for Building A New Name Everyone Respects. The entire Banner philosophy is built around a pledge to transact all business affairs with integrity, honesty and fair practice and treatment to all its customers. Based on the name, the following mission was developed:
