Current Role: Finance Director

A little about me….

Born and raised here in Los Angeles. I attended Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy near Pasadena, CA. In high school I was active in sports where I played varsity Volleyball and Softball from 1995-1999. When not playing sport, I was a member of the National Honors Society and was awarded Scholastic All-CIF Selection award for Outstanding Academic Achievement.

I am proud of my most recent achievement having obtained my Master of Education, MEd in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from University of Arkansas as an Honors Society Member. Prior to UA I received my BA in Business Marketing and Management from University or South Carolina where I continued as team captain of the Volleyball team. Any spare time outside of my education and sport was spent helping the USCVB Mentor Program, Athletes in Action Charity, or helping build homes with Habitat for humanity.

My career started here at Bob Smith shortly after completing my undergraduate’s degree over 17 years ago. Since then I have been promoted to Director of Finance where I am responsible for over $150m in assets annually across three stores and 5 different departments. One of my favorite roles is my ongoing mentoring of my four finance managers and our finance assistant. I get to work with them daily to help them grow their skill sets and work through the challenges of our business. My responsibilities also include hiring, training, and developing the sales, portfolio, and finance team of 30 associates.

One thing I would tell any future team member would be to take a chance and apply. Our team has people from all backgrounds and skills sets. We are a family business and we love to teach and develop the right people as future leaders within our company. If you don’t have car sales experience, please don’t let that stop you from letting us meet you. We are looking for the right person who we can train the technical stuff to.
