  • Broadway Automotive (originally Broadway Garage) first opened in De Pere, Wisconsin in 1916, and was franchised to sell Apperson, Maxwell & Buick cars.
  • The Chevrolet franchise was awarded to Broadway Garage in 1919.

  The Oldsmobile franchise was awarded to Broadway Garage in 1932.

• 1960-1970

  1960-1970

  Broadway Chevrolet opened a state-of-the-art facility on Ashland Avenue in 1967, where we are still located today.

• 1970-1990

  • Broadway Chevrolet-Oldsmobile was named Wisconsin Dealer of the Year and was one of the 10 National Finalists in 1976. 
  • Broadway was awarded Wisconsin Time Quality Dealer of the Year in 1986. We were one of the 10 finalists for the national award. 
  • The Hertz franchise at Austin-Straubel International Airport was acquired in 1987.
  • Volkswagen and SAAB inventory was added to Broadway Chevy-Olds in 1988 from Hinic Imports.

  • In 2004, Van Boxtel Automotive & Van Boxtel Auto Credit are purchased from Ed Van Boxtel – an automotive franchise that had been run by the Van Boxtel family since 1967.
  • Broadway purchased the Hyundai Franchise in 2008 from Denil Wall and added it to the Ford dealership.
  • Broadway Chevrolet-Oldsmobile-VW-Saab purchased Woosencraft Chevrolet-Pontiac-Buick in Pulaski, WI. The dealership name becomes Broadway of Pulaski.

  • In 2016, Broadway Automotive celebrated 100 years as a Chevrolet dealership and one of the oldest franchises in the country!
  • Broadway Automotive earned the Wisconsin Time Magazine Quality Dealer of the Year at the Chevrolet- Volkswagen dealership in 2019.

  • In 2020, Broadway Automotive purchased Pietroske Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Cadillac dealership in Manitowoc.
  • Broadway Automotive is named the Wisconsin Dealer of the Year in 2020.
  • In 2021, the Hertz Franchise at the Appleton Airport is acquired
  • Broadway Automotive built the largest Collision Center in the Midwest at the Ashland Avenue location, they opened their doors in 2022.
