The company has been in business since 1963. Started in Independence, MO as Cable Chevrolet and later merged with Dahmer Chevrolet to become Cable Dahmer Chevrolet. In 2007 the company opened Cable Dahmer Chevrolet of Kansas City. In August 2012 opened Cable Dahmer Buick GMC Cadillac in Independence, MO. On August 25, 2017 opened the Cable Dahmer Kia of Lees Summit. On September 25, 2017 acquired Cable Dahmer Cadillac of Kansas City and Cable Dahmer Buick GMC of KC.
