Luis Somoano began his career as a sales associate. He was promoted to Used Vehicle Sales Manager within two years.  He later progressed to Pre owned Sales Manager of an imports store.  In 1988 he formed Heat Motors which grew into Doral Automotive Group. Doral Lincoln was purchased in 2009,  Ford of Kendall in 2019 and Lincoln of Cutler Bay in 2020.

We are family run and want all associates to feel like they are part of our family.

Ruben Lara began working at Doral Lincoln as a photographer.  After almost one year,  Ruben became a Tech Specialist.   A tech specialist is an expert of all of the new vehicle  technology.  In this role, Ruben would go over all of the features with the new vehicle customers.   Ruben was well liked by the customers and always had an interest in sales.   He completed all of his certifications and became a Sales Associate.  Ruben was nominated Brand Champion his second year as a sales associate.  His success did not end there, Ruben was New Car Sales Associate of the year consecutively for two years after that.

Bri Almora started at Doral Lincoln as a Greeter. Bri was soon promoted to Service Concierge working closely with service clients and staff.  It is here that she got a firsthand look at all of service positions and what each entailed. Within a year, Bri completed her certifications and training and began to work as a Service Advisor.  Bri feels that her experience in each of these positions has helped her communicate better and establish a bond between her and her clients.

Rolando Garcia started working at Doral Lincoln as a Sales Associate.  In his first month, Rolando sold 19 vehicles.   A year later Rolando was Sales Associate of the year and held that title for three years consecutively.  Management took a liking for Rolando’s drive, enthusiasm and hard work.  Rolando was offered a New Vehicle Sales Manager position and has been in this position for over three years.  Rolando is thankful for management’s trust in him and providing him with this great opportunity.

Alejandro Era began working in the banking industry. After graduating from college he felt he wanted to look into other employment options.  Alejandro had taken plenty of Accounting courses in college and he wanted to find something in this field. Before starting with Doral Automotive Group, he wanted to make sure there was a career path available so that he could grow within the company.  He accepted a position with Ford of Kendall’s Accounting Department as an Accounting Specialist.  According to Alejandro, this was the best decision he could have made.

After graduating high school,  Francisco went on to study at the Ford Asset Program for Ford Motor Company where he became Ford Master Tech and ASE certified.  He also  received an AA from Broward Community College.  Francisco began working at the dealership in 1993 as a student assistant,  when he graduated he became a full time technician. Francisco was later promoted to team leader. In January of 2020 he was promoted to Assistant Service Manager/Shop Foreman.

We are commited to making a difference.

We take the role of being a good employer, a good neighbor, and an engaged and active member of the community to heart. Our team recognizes the value of a healthy, strong and safe community and works to maintain these goals through financial contributions as well as volunteering in charitable causes.

We host multiple charity events throughout the year.

Our associates really enjoy working at these events because they can identify with these charities. For the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, there is a lot of preplanning.  We start raising money months before the event.  We have bake sales, raffles, special parking spaces, and car washes in preparation of this huge event. 

We also donate money for every new car sold within a given month and all proceeds go to ACS Relay for Life.  We participate in the ACS Relay for Life in the cities of Doral and City of Palmetto Bay.  Cancer impacts so many people in all walks of life. This event is one that we get an abundance of volunteers.  Everyone appreciates and see what a difference we can make.

After these events we typically get a few inquiries as to how they can apply and work for us because they get a firsthand view of us in action.
