About Our Company

Our History

In January of 1983, Terry Feldmann stepped into ownership, after 15 years in the car business, with the purchase of what is now known as Feldmann Imports. The original dealership located in Richfield quickly outgrew that location and in 1989 moved to our current site in Bloomington.

Terry's vision in the automotive world was well ahead of other dealers. His strong belief in customer service inspired him to be the first to establish evening and Saturday hours, along with airport deliveries and free coffee. Every vehicle that comes through our service department is washed and vacuumed including spraying off the floor mats and wiping down the door jambs. Terry's motto was "Service and Sales. And Service." He offered "legendary service" to both his customers and employees.

Still, to this day, Terry's legacy is thriving. Feldmann Imports is still a family owned business. His wife, Julie, along with sons, Joseph, Guy and Tom have with great foresight expanded the company by doing an extensive remodels to the original dealership which is now exclusively Mercedes-Benz.

As we look ahead, our focus is to not only meet but to exceed the needs of our customers. We are a cutting edge dealership always looking for new and different ways to do business, but where integrity remains the cornerstone.

Our desire is to create an atmosphere where each and every customer who crosses our door feels something special. Terry's philosophy still remains true today.
