Handi Medical was founded in 1988 by Mary Benhardus to “properly serve customers” and our pledge to those we serve is to enrich lives by our commitment to quality, compassion, integrity, and respect. The services we provide are designed through the vision of our customers. Handi Medical invests in the education and training of our team members and our referral sources. The variety of products available in our warehouse assures we’ll have what you need.
For the last 26 years, Handi Medical hosts an annual education and equipment conference for medical professionals. We sponsor education events for the community. We volunteer and support local non-profits in fundraising activities. Some team members serve on boards and professional advisory committees for local and regional organizations. Our respiratory and occupational therapists provide education to students and community groups. All team members are encouraged to serve in their communities by utilizing volunteer pay each year, We have awarded team members with the CA Young Award which recognizes extreme generosity to others.
