January 22, 2020 – Jonker Honda has been awarded a 2020 DealerRater Consumer Satisfaction Award, an annual recognition given to auto dealerships that deliver outstanding customer service as rated by online consumer reviews. DealerRater, the world's leading car dealer review website, created the Consumer Satisfaction Award program to let online car shoppers instantly spot dealers that provide high-quality customer service.
Consumer Satisfaction Awards are given to the top 10 percent of U.S. new-car dealers based on their PowerScore™, as well as top independent and Canadian dealerships that receive at least 25 annual reviews and maintain a minimum average PowerScore™ rating of 4.0 out of 5.0. The PowerScore™ is determined using a Bayesian algorithm that factors the dealership’s average DealerRater consumer rating and the total number of reviews written about the dealership during the 2019 calendar year. Jonker Honda has achieved consistently high scores on the DealerRater website, placing it among the top dealerships nationwide.

Started career with Honda Oct 1981 and joined the Jonker Auto Group Feb 2005 with the grand opening of our brand new building. This offered an opportunity to settle into a great community making the easy commute. Wayne has certainly enjoyed a career in Parts and Services and he enjoys the satisfaction of seeing his customers delighted with their products as customers enjoy Wayne’s easy to follow explanation of how things work.
Duong joined us almost a year and a half ago and demonstrates outstanding detail working in the detailing department of our AutoSpa. Great care is taken with our customer vehicles as they entrust our service. We want their vehicles to shine with pride and Duong also readies our new and preowned vehicles for customers who look forward to receiving their newly acquired vehicle. Duong expressed his enjoyment working in such a teamwork based environment that is shared with everyone … the team!
Years of Service
I began my career working as a Service Consultant at Welland Honda located in Niagara. There I was able to build the foundation of my Honda knowledge and develop my passion for client service over the course of just about 2 years. Life brought me to beautiful British Columbia where I was introduced to Jonker Honda. Fortunately, the timing was perfect and I was welcomed back into the Honda family. With another 7 years so far at Jonker, time is flying by!
What keeps me motivated in my position as a Service Consultant for Honda is a combination of things. Having worked in a smaller location and now a much larger one has allowed me to continually improve and adapt my client service. When dealing with a much larger client base I regularly face situations where I have to combine my knowledge and professionalism to solve client’s every concern. The benefit is that I can push myself to grow and expand, all the while ensuring the client’s needs are taken care of over and above to positively reflect on the Honda brand.
Sometimes the days are long, but they are always rewarding knowing that I’ve done my best to ensure a positive outcome at the end. Working for Honda has been great!
