About Us

With a combined total of over 25 years of professional health care experience, as well as many years of personal experience caring for grandparents and other ailing family members, the Legacy administrative team is committed to treating both its consumers and employees with dignity and respect. We strive to maintain an environment that encourages new ideas, fosters open and honest communication, and promotes the wellbeing of both our consumers and employees.

Our Leadership

Legacy Home Care, Inc. was started by Beverly Moore and Danielle Wheeler.

Beverly Moore, Chief Executive Office

Beverly worked in a personal care home during summer vacations creating in her a special bond and appreciation for seniors.  After graduate school she raised a family and established a thriving medical mall where many medical services can collaborate to improve the community’s access to care.

Through her background in family management, science, business and relationship with her physician husband, Beverly understands the importance of communication in both receiving and giving care.  These experiences have uniquely enabled her to passionately advocate for keeping the person at the center of home care.

Danielle Wheeler RN, Chief Operations Office

Danielle believes each person is unique.  She is deeply invested in meeting each person’s specific needs in the most thoughtful, caring manner possible.

As a nurse and as part of a management team building home care agencies, Danielle has cared for seniors in facilities and home care settings for over 17 years. She became more committed to culture change in home and community-based care after being intimately involved with her Grandmother's lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. 

Bev and Danielle work together at Legacy Home Care striving to maintain an environment that encourages new ideas, fosters open and honest communication and promotes the wellbeing of both consumers and employees.
