About Lewis Automotive Group

Building a Legacy

In 1946 Herb "Buck" Lewis, a banker at First National Bank in Fayetteville, decided to make an investment. He purchased a Ford store off of Mountain Street, near the Fayetteville square. It held only six vehicles. Four generations later the Lewis family is still doing business with the same values and principles they were founded upon. In 1969 the Lewis's skeptically decided to move the store to North College Avenue. At the time, it was considered to be "in the country" so the transition was a bit unnerving. The following year, the Northwest Arkansas Mall was built, bringing traffic and excitement to the same part of town as the Lewis Ford Store.

Tommy and Tim Lewis expanded the operation to six locations to better serve Northwest Arkansas. The locations always keep more than 1,000 vehicles in stock to meet your needs. The Lewis Automotive Family is highly involved in various organizations, teams, causes and charities that give back to the communities. You can check out their social media pages for on the go updates of their involvements. Today, you can find a family member on staff 6 days of the week. Great grandsons of the founder, Matt, Shelby, and Taylor Lewis take pride in offering courteous service and quality products.

Although the inventory has changed significantly since 1946 their values remain steadfast. If you share in our values, please take a look at our open positions on the Employment page and apply today!
