Mankato Motors opened its doors on January 5th, 2009. Previously dubbed Clements Auto Company, our current owner, Dale Schmitt, purchased the store from The Rydell Corporation. We continue to follow the Rydell values and philosophies.
We take the role of being a good employer, a good neighbor, and an engaged and active member of the community to heart. Our team recognizes the value of a healthy, strong and safe community, and works to maintain these goals through financial contributions as well as volunteering.
Every year at Mankato Motors, we pick a month and a local organization or charity we want to support. During that month, we donate $100 per vehicle sale to the local organization. It's a great way to give back, and the customers appreciate it as well!
Earlier this year we worked with another local dealership and ECHO Food Shelf. Customers and team members donated food and supplies, and all together we donated 1,054 lbs of food and $1000 dollars to ECHO. A job well done, and lots of help given to families in need!
Once a year, we have the American Red Cross bring their Blood Mobile to our store. Both customers and team members are able to donate blood, and whoever donates gets a gift certificate for a free oil change!
