People who choose to work for Monroe Tractor do so because we’re more than a dealership and we’re certainly not just about numbers. Monroe Tractor is a third-generation, family business that still operates on its founder’s philosophy “where courtesy dwells, service excels.”
This principle was the foundation for our success and is still core to our mission. That philosophy drives our promise to our customers that, “we’re here to keep you doing your job,” which we live up to through teamwork, hard work, problem solving and doing what’s right for the customer by doing right by each other.
Keeping technicians trained on the latest in new machinery is important at Monroe Tractor. We want our customers to know their equipment is in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing and will get them up and running quickly.
Recently we had 20 technicians from all 18 Monroe Tractor locations go through an intensive Case Skid Steer course that consisted of a 4-week online course and 2 full days of face-to-face, hands on training. Over the four weeks online, they learned the ins and outs of all model Case skid steers from how they work and how to service the machines. After completion, they spent two days at Monroe’s Corporate Training Facility in Rochester NY where they had hands on training for electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, diagnostics and repair techniques with Case Service Training Instructor, Kevin Brookhart, from CNH Industrial, New Holland, Pennsylvania.
These techs have the capability to spot maintenance issues before they become costly repairs and offer the best solutions to keep your skid steer running.
Monroe Tractor is always looking for hardworking and dedicated people to join the team. Employees are what make a company successful and our goal is to attract individuals that value customer support and accountability. We are committed to employee development and ensuring we have the best employees in the industry.
Monroe Tractor supports its associates through empowerment, accountability and teamwork across departments, stores, and divisions. Ultimately creating an environment where employees are happy working. There’s a simple way to ensure we’re making the best decisions for our customers and our company. Do what’s right – If we ask ourselves, “are we doing what’s right?” and the answer is no, we shouldn’t be doing it. We can always do what’s right by working by a set of values.
I take pride in my work and I am determined to get the job done right. I don’t run from problems or avoid conflict, but let it fuel me to resolve issues and find the answers.
We are all a part of Monroe Tractor and share the same goals. No matter how stressful a situation there’s no substitute for being understanding and supportive. We have each other’s backs and are stronger together than as individuals.
I take ownership and proactively provide solutions that work best for our company. I involve the right team members and am not afraid to ask for help from other departments and stores to get the best solution.
I treat my coworkers as I want to be treated. I am a representative of my department, store and company. I don’t point fingers, I embrace teamwork and I respect and appreciate other ways of doing things.
My team knows that I will do what I say I will. I am trustworthy, responsible and don’t have to be asked to do things twice. I listen so I have a full understanding of what is being asked of me and ask clarifying questions. I can be counted on to do things right.
