Immediately following the end of prohibition in the United States, Martin G. Taub launched a brandy rectifying business in December 1933—marking the Taub family’s first entry into the wine & spirits industry.
In 1977, Martin and his son, David S. Taub, founded Palm Bay Imports, later to be renamed Palm Bay International. David Taub expanded Americans’ palate for Italian wine by introducing Pinot Grigio to America and forging the path for Palm Bay International to grow steadily to become one of the top importers of fine wines in the world.
Today under the visionary leadership of David’s son, Marc D. Taub, our portfolio is able to meet the needs of every level of industry, from independent restaurants and retail stores, to chain accounts, supermarkets, hotels, airlines, cruise ships, duty-free accounts and U.S. military bases.
