About Palm Bay International

Building a Legacy

Immediately following the end of prohibition in the United States, Martin G. Taub launched a brandy rectifying business in December 1933—marking the Taub family’s first entry into the wine & spirits industry.

In 1977, Martin and his son, David S. Taub, founded Palm Bay Imports, later to be renamed Palm Bay International. David Taub expanded Americans’ palate for Italian wine by introducing Pinot Grigio to America and forging the path for Palm Bay International to grow steadily to become one of the top importers of fine wines in the world.

Today under the visionary leadership of David’s son, Marc D. Taub, our portfolio is able to meet the needs of every level of industry, from independent restaurants and retail stores, to chain accounts, supermarkets, hotels, airlines, cruise ships, duty-free accounts and U.S. military bases. At Palm Bay, we take great pride in our caring and dedicated approach to business and we value our long-term relationships with partners.

Partners With Our Community

At Palm Bay International, we strive to be much more than a business. Giving back to the community and our involvement in charitable organizations is incredibly important to our entire team. Whether it’s raising awareness for a local charity or rallying support for the brave men and women in our armed forces, we strive to be an influential member of the community. Examples of past support include:

Cell Phones For Soldiers is a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing cost-free communication services and emergency funding to active-duty military members and veterans.

La Cocina cultivates low income food entrepreneurs as they formalize and grow their businesses by providing affordable commercial kitchen space, industry-specific technical assistance and access to market opportunities. La Cocina focuses primarily on women from communities of color and immigrant communities.
