An overview of Peterbilt and Paccar Service information resources that features hands-on exercises covering various inspections and maintenance procedures, as well as an introduction to Davie 4 and aftertreatment systems.
Weeks 4-6
An explanation and lab exercises covering Peterbilt's electrical systems: battery and starting systems through Controller Area Network Diagnostics. The system covered include: NAMUX 4, VECU, MX Engine Electrical and Diagnostic Assistant.
Weeks 7-9
An overview of the Peterbilt chassis and its related components from Air System and Brakes/Hubs to Clutch Adjustments and Suspension Systems, as well as NVH Diagnostics and the Peterbilt HVAC system.
Weeks 10-12
Experience the teardown and reassembly of both MX-11 and MX-13 engines to gain component knowledge and Rapido understanding. Learn Aftertreatment and Control Module Programming, as well as use PVP and SupportLink.
