Todd Barnes bought the business in the early 2000’s from another family that owned and ran 5 Saturn locations in the North Bay. We are formerly Saturn of Santa Rosa. Saturn as many people will recall was VERY customer focused and was more about the customer experience and great service than it was about making the best car on the road. Now with Chevrolet, we have retained many employees with those core Saturn values, but now get to offer a Chevrolet product and service that is arguably the best on the road. We were very blessed with the opportunity to get the Chevrolet franchise when Jill Ladziak, the then President of Saturn, announced that the brand was going to be discontinued when a deal with Penske fell through to take the brand over. We believe in community and sponsor and participate in dozens of local events in the community every year and Todd is typically out there working nearly every single one of those community events throughout the year.
We have 4 employees that have been with the company for over 18 years. One of them is our Service Advisors Jenn, started as a cashier just out of high school and has worked her way up to one of our best advisors and has been able to provide for her family for many years. We have had many employees start as Porters, Detail, Cashier, Receptionist and work their way up to Sales Consultant, Service Advisor, DMV Clerk, Service Dispatcher, Parts Assistant Manager. Our current Fleet/Commercial Director Nicole started as a Sales Consultant with zero experience and worked her way up to, closer, floor manager, F&I Manager and now Fleet/Commercial Director. Our currently Payroll Administrator was a cashier initially and our current Warranty Administrator was as well. I personally started in detail washing cars, then lube technician, parts counterperson, sales person, sales/finance manager and now General Manager. We are always looking to invest in good people.
We support many events with charitable causes: Youth Baseball, Youth Soccer, Golf events and Car shows with charitable causes, we have hosted Toys for Tots and Blood Drives in the past, the local Air Museum/Air Show, Canine Companions and many other charitable causes.
