Our Culture

Smart Motors Culture

“We are dedicated to creating lifetime relationships with our customers, a positive work environment for our employees and an absolute commitment to customer satisfaction.”

At Smart Motors, our belief in doing business the right way shapes who we are and how we work. Examples of this include the Japanese idea of Kaizen from Toyota, which means Constant Improvement. Similarly our own Customer Caring Process helps us keep the customer in mind by putting emphasis on: Our Great Facilities, A Warm Welcome, Listening and A Fond Farewell. We also reinforce best practices through daily huddles with topics such as: “Great Workplace, Great Workforce”, “3 Principles of Customer Satisfaction: Defect Free, Timeliness & Caring”, “Be a Good Employee - In Looks, Words & Deeds”, “Helping the Customer is Everyone’s Job” and ”Every Job is Critical: Respect Among Employees”.

We take pride in the longevity and tenure of our teammates. More than 50 employees have been with the company for more than 10 years and our average employee tenure is currently more than 6 years! We believe in growing our employees, celebrating their success and rewarding their dedication.

For over 100 years the Madison and surrounding communities have been so good to us as an organization. As a result, we believe in giving back to those communities and the individuals who have made our history possible. We are proud to partner with many local and national civic and charitable organizations to better the world we live in. Here are just a few of those organizations making a tremendous impact in our communities:
