About Sport Clips TEMPLATE

Our History

Soon after the first Sport Clips opened Austin, Texas in 1993, Sport Clips expanded into Houston and Dallas, and, based further expansion plans on where Southwest Airlines flew to keep travel expenses at a minimum. It took five years to open the first 50 stores, and by 2007, Sport Clips celebrated the opening of its 400th and 500th store in the same year. In 2012, the franchise expanded into Canada. Today, Sport Clips is proud to be the only national hair care franchise with locations in all 50 states in the U.S., with more than 1,500 open in the U.S. and Canada.

Partners With Our Community

At Sport Clips Haircuts we believe in giving back to the communities in which we live and work. Through our Haircuts with Heart programs, Sport Clips’ Team Members embrace charitable endeavors that make a difference in the lives of our veterans, families and children. The spirit of giving is demonstrated by the generous donation of time and contributions raised and is representative of the Sport Clips values. Do your best. Do what’s right. Treat others the way they want to be treated.

Listed below are the national partnerships we are involved with, which are very important to the way in which we operate as a business on a daily basis.

Campaign, the American Red Cross red cell units reached 96.8% of the donation goal and platelet collections reached 97.8% of goal which represented a 3.9% increase year over year. Our commitment to the American Red Cross continues annually, and Sport Clips’ Team Members and clients understand that the need for blood and platelets never goes away, and is often drastically increased when disasters strike.
