Benefits

What We Do

Community

VNA is dedicated to our communities and the people in them.

We serve 4 of the poorest counties in the country, and through our endowment, provide over $3,000,000 of free care for our either uninsured or underinsured patients each year. We have a food pantry that provides nutritionally balanced frozen meals, fresh produce and shelf stable food to our patients and their families. We are the only agency in the area whose clinicians hand-deliver this food to patients in need.

Core Cultural Values

Who We Are

Fun Activities

We have an annual softball game, and pre-Covid organized quarterly painting parties. We host holiday pot lucks and decorating contests, a Holiday party in December, employee appreciation wine and cheese parties, and wellness contests. When there are not Covid restrictions that are currently in place, we also encourage staff during their regular work hours to participate in a volunteer experience we provide.

Mission Statement

The mission of The Visiting Nurse Association of Philadelphia, through its dedicated staff, is to provide comprehensive home health, palliative, and end of life care of the highest quality to all people, regardless of their ability to pay.”

Historic Care… Now in our 3rd Century

Vision Statement

The VNAGP will be the nationally recognized not-for-profit leader in the Philadelphia region providing a compassionate and comprehensive continuum of home care, hospice, palliative care and population health services in partnership with physicians, health systems, community-based organizations and universities.
