The Anderson Auto Group story starts when Roger Anderson began his automotive career on the West Coast as a salesman and quickly moved through different levels of management before acquiring a dealership in Newcastle, Wyoming. In 1986, he purchased a dealership in Grand Island, Nebraska, that has experienced tremendous growth. The business expanded again in 1993, with the purchase of a dealership in Lincoln, Nebraska housing Ford, Lincoln, and eventually, Mazda. Anderson built a state-of-the-art dealership right off of I-80 and the 27th Street exit in June, 2001.
The combined success of the first two dealerships enabled the Anderson Group to acquire the Ford dealership in St. Joseph, Missouri in 1996. The Saint Joseph store has multiple lines which also include, Lincoln, Kia, Mitsubishi, Honda ATV, and Quick Lane to better serve our customers. Kia was added to the Grand Island dealership in 2007. On June 1, 2008 Mike Anderson purchased the Auto Group from Roger Anderson. Mike has attained valuable experience by working through all areas of the entire dealership operation and today, he is involved daily in the success of all eight dealerships. This entails franchises with Ford, Lincoln, Mazda, Kia, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Mitsubishi, Quick Lane, Honda ATV and Yamaha Powersports across three markets of Grand Island, Lincoln and Saint Joseph.

...we will serve your needs by always doing what is right. This is a rally point for both why and how we do our jobs, interact with each other and the people around us. As our mission moves forward there are 4 areas of impact - Our People, Our Community, Our Industry, and Our World . As efforts progress each of these areas, it begins to snowball and creates cumulative effect. Again, it all starts with people and as we care for one another well, our impact broadens to our community. As we listen and respond to local needs, we set a precedent an example for others in our community. When others in our community pick up the torch and move forward in their own impactful ways, we truly have the potential for impact locally, and regionally. As partnerships continue to grow and more fully experience positive effect on people, engagement levels will soar. Thinking about this you begin to realize your value as a person. Everyone is contributing to a much bigger cause. Get the idea?
