Our History
AutoTeam Delaware was originally founded in 1916 as Delaware Motor Sales, serving the entire Delaware area for over 100 years! In 1982, the current ownership assumed control of our dealer group, now known as AutoTeam Delaware. Our dealer group consists of Delaware Cadillac, Delaware Subaru, Kia of Wilmington, and the Delaware Cadillac Body Shop.

AutoTeam Delaware is an A+ rated Better Business Bureau (BBB) accredited business and a founding member of Delaware's Better Business Bureau. AutoTeam Delaware is also a member of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce and a Member of the National Automobile Dealers Associate. AutoTeam Delaware has also won many awards including the Delaware Superstars in Business Award and a Best of Wilmington Delaware award for Auto Repair by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA). Additionally, AutoTeam Delaware has been awarded a Family Award from the BBB and a Family Owned Business award from the Delaware Today. AutoTeam Delaware was also recgonized by the Department of Defense and the Employer Suport of the Guard and Reserve as a finalist for the Employer Support Freedom Award, the highest recognition given by the U.S. Government to employers for their outstanding support of employees serving in the Guard or Reserve. We support and give back to our local community by partnering with several loca organizations, including Nemours A.I. DuPont Children's Hospital, Christiana Care Health System's Women's & Children's Center, United Way of Delaware, the Ministry of Caring and many others.
