An Eide Success Story!
Don is the General Sales Manager at Eide Chrysler. Don is from Prior Lake, Minnesota and moved to Bismarck in 2010 at age 18 to attend the University of Mary on a football scholarship. In the spring of 2011 he was looking for a part-time job in his area of study in Marketing and e-mailed Jesse Peterson, one of the owners of Eide Ford and Eide Chrysler, to inquire about any open positions. By coincidence, Jesse had been looking for a part-time person to assist with sales and marketing at Eide Ford. Don was hired as a Sales & Marketing Assistant, handling social media, internet marketing & assisting with sales staff in delivering new vehicles to customers. He soon moved to sales & internet sales when not in-season. Upon graduating college, Don started working full-time at Eide Ford in sales, quickly moving up to be one of the top salespeople at the dealership. When the purchase of Eide Chrysler was made, Don followed Jesse to that store in sales, but was promoted to management within months. Don is a prime example of working his way up and of promoting from within.
