FMI was founded in 1985 as a repair and maintenance facility for truck fleets, with two mechanics and one parts counterman. FMI now has three dealership locations with twenty-six technicians and ten parts specialist.
At FMI, we are dedicated to providing excellent customer service and satisfaction. We are focused on treating everyone – customers, employees, partners, and vendors – with honesty and respect. Our overall goal is to keep our customers on the road day in and day out.
We strongly believe that the ongoing development of a team of positive, engaged, enthusiastic teammates is directly tied to providing outstanding customer service! Teammates who have been with FMI for many years have considerable knowledge of our culture and our products and services - TRIBAL KNOWLEDGE!
Even though we take great pride in our tribal knowledge, we love new teammates! They bring new ideas, talent, and diversification to the FMI family. We continually add new positions to accommodate our growth and assure our customer service levels remain high. Review of nearly 2000 customer survey cards left in every truck we service or repair tells us that 98.3% of our customers would recommend FMI to their friends and associates!

To succeed in this program you must meet the established criteria in five areas:
(1) sales training; (2) service/parts/warranty training, (3) new truck inventory stocking, (4) new parts inventory stocking, and (5) customer experience
There are 22 dealerships in our territory and only 5 dealerships achieved Circle of Excellence, and 3 of the 5 dealerships are FMI!

We do this by having a highly trained team and providing them with the resources needed to ensure our customers receive the service they deserve.
