Fred Martin Motor Company was established in 1990, and purchased from Fred Martin in 1999 by current President, Adam Huff and his late brother Duane Huff. The company expanded to include Fred Martin Nissan on Arlington Road in Akron in 2003, and other related entities were built to accommodate the growing retail environment and needs of our customers.

Fred Martin Superstore has won Fiat Chrysler Automobiles “Customer First Award For Excellence” since its inception in 2016.
Two employees, Margaret Kinsinger, and Hannah Hoehn are both Ironman Triathletes and avid equestrians. Dealership staff participates in an have an annual Turkey Bowl football game that takes place on Thanksgiving Day with a rival dealership. Many employees have adopted animals from the Humane Society, including from the traveling Mobile Adoption Unit that visits the dealership annually. Many of our employees are members of the Barberton and Wadsworth YMCA and value health and fitness. The Sales Department participates in a weightloss challenge every January! Several employees are interested in drag racing, motorcycles and classic cars.
