The Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center is a full-fledged, New Jersey state-designated children's hospital. The hospital is a full voting member in the National Association of Children's Hospitals and Related Institutions, the non-profit association that speaks on behalf of children's health needs and their caregivers. As a children's hospital, they also advocate for the protection of children, with public health initiatives that include community immunizations, child-abuse and school violence prevention programs, and community education about pertinent and timely healthcare topics.

Ramapo College of New Jersey is a comprehensive institution of higher education dedicated to the promotion of teaching and learning within a strong liberal arts based curriculum, thus earning the designation "New Jersey's Public Liberal Arts College." Its curricular emphasis include the liberal arts and sciences, social sciences, fine and performing arts, and the professional programs within a residential and sustainable living and learning environment. Organized into thematic learning communities, Ramapo College provides academic excellence through its interdisciplinary curriculum, international education, intercultural understanding and experiential learning opportunities. These four pillars, supported by global partnerships established in Europe, Africa, Asia, South America, the Caribbean, and several Native American tribal communities, have become central themes in Ramapo College's excellence in the teaching and learning continuum.

RBARI believes that all animals have a natural right to humane treatment including proper care, respect, and safe shelter. Our primary mission is to provide sanctuary while finding permanent, loving homes for the many animals that come to us (including feral, elderly handicapped, and formerly abused animals). Animals in our care receive lots of love in addition to shelter, food, and medical care. RBARI adheres to a "NO-KILL" policy, giving animals an open-ended stay at a warm, safe place until loving homes can be found.

As one of Bergen County's largest Chambers, our mission has always been to enhance business, civic and economic vitality in our community by supporting a healthy economic climate. We work tirelessly to drive business to our members and provide multiple varied opportunities to connect, grow and promote their business.

The Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of individuals, businesses, professionals and organizations dedicated to advancing the commercial, professional, civic and general interests of our community.
