Right at Home of West Central Chicago is searching for dependable, trustworthy, compassionate, and caring individuals. Our work makes a difference every day in the lives or others and we are only as good as our employees. This is why we go out of our way to make working for us a rewarding experience.
Bring your enthusiasm and compassion to help others and join our in-home, non-medical team of caregivers to assist the elderly and disabled in the community.
Working with Right at Home to assist the disabled and elderly has been a life fulfilling journey.
I started as a scheduler before all the high tech gadgets, cell phone reminders, on-call assistance, etc. and was able to see how much care and assistance can impact the lives of many. It is very humbling to help an elderly person and brighten their day, to listen to their stories of days gone by, and to know that someday I may need help too. I find it an honor and privilege to meet veterans that have fought for our country to give us the liberties we have now and that some take for granted. I value and appreciate how our services can impact the lives of many family members and give a little relief to everyday challenges that occur when a family member is ill or at end of life. Our work makes a huge difference in the lives of others. As I age myself, I realize that life can change in a moment and we need to make the most of each day.
Jeanie Madden
Client Care Manager
People have always told me that I have a big heart and are great at taking care of everyone. My past position for 16 yrs was in HR and payroll, I was always the go-to person whether it be the name of someone, a phone #, the date of a certain event, I always had the answers. After taking care of my mother whom had two brain surgeries, my mother in law with cancer and my hubby after several surgeries a mutual friend of many years told me to call his buddy at Right at Home and in May of 2014 I started at Right at Home as a Caregiver. After being in the field with clients and spending some of my time in the office for a bit I gave up my role as a Caregiver and moved to the office recruiting new caregivers and filling schedules for our clients. I truly enjoy speaking with our clients, hearing their stories and helping them. It is heartwarming to know that we can put a smile on their face and help to brighten their day!
Diane Rhinerson
Staffing Coordinator and Scheduler
When I moved to Illinois, the plan was for me to stay home for a while and get out daughter settled. Within two weeks I missed working. I drove by a Right at Home, went home and applied and got a call right away. I started as a part time caregiver. In August of 2017 I was asked if I would like to come work in the office as a scheduler. Since coming to the office, I still make it a priority to work one on one with our clients. I go out and do supervisor visits, train new caregivers when needed. I've always had a passion for helping others and seeing the smiles from our clients to the hugs and laughs make it all worth it.
