We started in 2005 with our first dealership Teton Toyota, in Idaho Falls Idaho. Owner Mario Hernandez set out to create a positive culture and be active in the community. In 2012 Teton added to our local Idaho Falls footprint by becoming the local Volkswagen Dealer. VW is operated by Managing Partner Dave Hernandez as well as owned by Mario Hernandez. Dave has been with Teton Auto Group since 2011. He runs the day to day operations of VW with his other partner Anthony Hernandez General Sales Manager. Anthony has been with Teton Auto Group since 2005. Together they have won the VW Wolfsburg award and are proud members of the Volkswagen Crest Club. Their service department is an award winning department in customer service.

In 2010 we expanded our offerings to offer in house financing options for our customers with a business called Teton Auto Credit. At Teton Auto Credit we have an outstanding team. Teton Auto Credit was integrated by Crystal Zmak who has helped thousands of people all over southeast Idaho rebuild or build credit. Crystal is the Managing Partner of Teton Auto Credit and has been with the group since 2005.

In 2018 Humboldt Ford was Established in Winnemucca, Nevada. Steve Kuhn is Partner in the Humboldt Ford store in Winnemucca. He is originally from Idaho Falls and relocated his family there to own and operate the Ford store. The local hometown feel of our Easy to Buy Easy to do business with has been implemented in this community. Steve Kuhn, Managing Partner has been with Teton Auto Group since 2007. He is excited about being part of Humboldt County and serving the customer and employee needs there. Humboldt Ford employs around 50 people and continues to grow!

In 2019 our Managing Partner, Aaron Carter, opened the doors of Columbia Gorge Toyota and Honda. In partnership with Mario, The Dalles Oregon is our newest exciting opportunity for growth and expansion. Aaron has worked for Teton Toyota for 15 years in multiple roles. Aaron and his family are excited to be a part of The Dalles community and plan to continue to increase their offerings to customers. The impact they have made early on is what they plan to carry on throughout the duration of Columbia Gorge Motors. The team has some seasoned veterans as well was new opportunities for up and commers.

Colville Toyota is located in Colville Washington. Colville Toyota was added to Teton Auto Group on June 7th, 2021. Colville Toyota has been a part of the Colville community for 75 years and was owned and operated by the Carter family and was previously named Carter Toyota. We will continue to provide excellent customer service and a high-quality workplace in the community. Mario Hernandez is the Dealer Principal for Colville Toyota. The daily oversight and operations will be done by the new General Manager Kelly Cobos. Kelly has worked for Teton Auto Group for 5 years and has been in the automotive industry for over 20 years. Her most recent position was as a Sales Manager at our Teton Toyota location in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Summit Ford is in the beautiful town of Silverthorne Colorado. Silverthorne is located in the Rocky Mountains and about 70 miles west of Denver. It is surrounded by National Forest and Wilderness Area and offers breathtaking views of the Gore Range! It is a small population of around 4100 and is located in Summit County. That is where the name Summit Ford comes from! At the all-new Summit Ford, we are committed to an environment where the customer is always treated with respect and dignity. As of September 1st, Summit Ford of Silverthorne will be under new ownership. A lot of the same great team is staying on board just with a renewed set of excitement to help you with all your automotive needs! The Dealer Principal and majority owner is Mario Hernandez. The Managing Partner who comes to us from the Previous Summit Ford is Ryan Ramsay. Ryan began his career in 1994 at Dick Edwards Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Hyundai in Manhattan, Kansas. He became the General Manager of Summit Ford in 2006 and was promoted years later as the managing partner in 2013. He comes to us with a vast knowledge of fixed operations experience. Chris Manwill is the General Manager of Summit Ford and has been with the Teton Auto Group since 2013. He has held various positions while his time at Teton Toyota from Sales to sales manager to Business Development Manager. Teton Auto Group is excited to incorporate Summit Ford into our family of dealerships.

May 2022 we added Coos Bay Toyota to our group. The newest Managing Partner, Anthony Hernandez, relocated with his family to the area to operate the dealership. Anthony has been with the group since 2005 and has worked in several locations including Teton Toyota, Volkswagen and our sister stores Parker Toyota and Parker Volkswagen. As well as various departments from Detail, Parts, Service, Finance and Business Development Center, Sales, and most recently the General Sales Manager at Teton Volkswagen. This is in partnership with Teton Auto Group Founder, Mario Hernandez. Coos Bay Toyota was owned and operated by Guy and Lee Hawthorne for the past 40 years. The brothers decided to retire and trust Teton Auto Group with their incredible team. Coos Bay Toyota employs around 60 people. They have a few things unique to them that we are excited to be a part of, the amazing Smiling Dog Café where they serve up amazing coffee, treats and are extremely dog friendly. They even have a dog park behind the dealership! They also have a used car sector called 101 Auto Sales to help with all your used car needs. Teton Auto Group is excited for the opportunity to be a part of the Coos Bay community as we show them what a best in industry, easy to buy and easy to do service experience looks like.
